Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born on March 4 1954) is a Canadian-American actress and comedian. O'Hara has been awarded a variety of prizes, including the Genie Award (a Golden Globe Award) as well as two Screen Actors Guild Awards and two Primetime Emmy Awards. In addition, O'Hara was awarded six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was appointed to the rank of an Officer of Canada. She was also awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara first became known as an actress while she was part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd she was part of the main ensemble of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd started work on Second City Television's sketch comedy program (1976-1984). O'Hara received critical acclaim for her comedic acting and writing abilities, earning her an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for a Variety Series in 1982. O'Hara was part of the new Second City artistic Advisory Board that was headed by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key. Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
